Can someone please let me know if I can replace the cold control thermostat myself or do I need to call the repair man to do this? Can I do this without much technological knowledge?
The front panel of my Whirlpool ED22DWXTn04 has 3 controls. One says freezer, the middle one says refrigerator and the right hand one says Power Saver.All these sit on a panel held by 4 screws and if I look into the fridge behind this , there are 2 hex nuts there.
I am not able to regulate the temp by turning the knobs. the compressor comes on when I hit the front panel where the controlknobs are.
Then it goes back to cooling to -20 (freezer) and 20-30 (fridge). Otherwise, the freezer goes to 40 deg and the fridge goes to 50.
Please help.
