Hi,

I have a Kitten Aid dryer. Its aporx 10 yrs old. The other day the timmer went on it and only 3 cycles apeared to be working out of the 4. Regular wasnt working. Plus the timming on the cylces where messed up as dryer only ran for 3-5mins and stop. The timmer assambly had a lose part inside noise so I oredered in the exact timmer switch. I have installed the new timmer switch. All wires are in the correct spot even trippled checked the scamatic plus my best friend check it also for me. Regular cycle still doesnt work and apears now also the timming on the cylces are off aprox 1/2 inch farther then there supose to be. Meaning it starts like partailly on the next cycle and shuts off partailly into the next cycle. I unfortianlly cant compare it with the old switch to see if timming cycles also moved off on that too as my Dad had to tear it apart on me before I got to test the new switch.

And sugestions?
Thanks!

The position of the timer is not going to change or be off on your new switch. In installs in only one orientation and it will align correctly with the cycles as marked on the faceplate. You can, however, install the knob incorrectly and it will point to the wrong place on the settings. Are you certain the knob is correctly installed? What happens if you reposition the knob to align with the settings?
