I have a freezer on top serial number FRT18p6cwa. I let the coils get full of dog hair and the front face got very hot. I cleaned it. Then the defrost stopped working. I replaced the timer. Now when I turn the timer to defrost it trips the circuit breaker. It runs fine but the temperature control does not seem to work. It runs constantly, so I unplug it once a day and use a hair dryer to defrost the condenser. I live in EL Salvador and travel a long ways for parts that are sometimes questionable. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
