TV sound trouble

I have a TV that is less than a year old, the name on the front of it is ilo. The picture is fine but the sound is gone on some channels. On some channels the sound is fine. Whats up with this? Thanks in advance for any help.

Where do you get your TV signal? Cable, Satellite or Antenna?

Is there a converter box (or any device) between the incoming wire and the wire out to the TV?

Do you use your TV speakers or is the sound routed through a sound system?
