I have a Kenmore microwave/hood that i'm having a problem with. The door latch, upon opening, will shut the power off and then back on in a split second. Sometimes this results in tripping the breaker. I took apart the control panel and took out the 3 micro switches. I took the switches to a parts house and they tested the switches. The middle switch showed to be bad so I had them give me a replacement switch. I put all of the switches back in their places and hooked the appropriate wires up to them, plugged the microwave back in and am still having the shorting out problem. Upon my research, i found a site that claimed swithches could show good on an volt meter and still be bad. Does anyone have any insight to this? Could there be another problem besides the switches that could be causing this problem. Once again, the problem only exist when the door is being opened. Otherwise, the microwave works fine with no other problems.

The door switch are usually safety switches that are designed to blow the fuse if they are not all mechanically & electrically switched at the correct timimg sequence.

Also, when I said the power was turning on then off i meant the entire microwave, display and all.
