I have a GE GSD530X-66WW that is not draining at all. It was making a loud errrrrrr noise when the water was being pumped out previously. Now, it will run through all of the cycles properly only not draining. During what would be the drain cycle, there is no noise or action from the dishwasher. Should I suspect a sylanoid (sp?) or pump?

I broke down the dishwasher and found that the solenoid is burned out due to a dime being stuck in the impellor. I am looking for a replacement solenoid now. Thanks for the help!

Edit:

The Solenoid was bad due to water leaking from behind the water drain valve actuator. I fixed the leak by tightening the scre that holds the actuator (White plastic half disk that the actuator arm slided into). The replacement solenoid kit part number is WD21X802 and can be found at several online parts places, but the cheapest I found ($39.82) was here:

WARNING:

If you attempt to troubleshoot your dishwasher, be sure to unplug the dishwasher from the wall power outlet as there are many ways to shock yourself under there.

Thanks to RegUS_PatOff, I was able to spell most of the part names correctly :D

During what would be the drain cycle, there is no noise or action from the dishwasher... found that the [drain] solenoid is burned out
A problem with the drain solenoid shouldn't affect operation of the main pump motor. The motor should just continue to wash right through the drain cycle instead of switching over the drain.

leaking from behind the water drain valve actuator. I fixed the leak by tightening the screw that holds the actuator (White plastic half disk that the actuator arm slided into).
There is a small seal that fits in the plastic housing around the drain valve's shaft. It is ridiculously expensive for its size though.
