Frigidaire Trips breaker

Can any one tell how to fix my refrigerator? When I plug it in it trips the breaker. we moved and had to clean it out due to hurricane. odar was bad so we washed it down outside any help would be great. :rolleyes: The light comes on but when I switch on the frig it trips the breaker.

The fridge may not be the problem. It could be the circuit is overloaded or not rated for the draw required by the fridge. The breaker itself could be bad too.

If it is the fridge, and since it doesn't trip until it tries to start, then I'd start by looking for water in the relay or some other possible cause of a short.
