I punched a hole in the aluminum refrigerate line inside my freezer while defrosting it. I know stupid. It lost a small amount of refrigerant. How do I repair the line?

You can repair it with a weatherproof epoxy. Make sure to clean, dry and warm the tube first. These patches usually won't last more than a year or two.
How did you stop the leak from loosing all your refrigerant? You may need to recharge the system for proper cooling.

I simply unplugged the freezer, so, I'm not sure if I lost all the freon or not. It only spewed out for a few seconds. What do you think?
