10yr old Kenmore Washer - makes loud vibrating noise when cold water is filling. Need to know if this is worth fixing.

Try adjusting the water pressure (turn the valve) on the cold water. If no change, it could be a partially clogged filter screen in the hose or inlet valve. Otherwise, it might be a failing inlet valve (cheap and easy to replace).
