I have a Bosch dishwasher SGS 4552/12. It stays on the WASH or RINSE cycles and does not go to DRY. The Hot water and heating do not come on.

Some dishwashers heat the water before beginning the wash. If the heat doesn't come on to warm the water, it may be a loose connection to the heater element, an internal fuse, the coild could be bad, a thermostat may be the problem or the timer control may be the problem.

obviously, there are many possibilities. I'd start by checking connections then take resistance reading on the elementto make sure is normal. I don't what your exact reading should be, but if you get infinite or zero resistance, it is definitely bad.
