I have a GE Washing Machine-Profile Model WPSQ4160T2WW. The washer shaped piece on the motor spindle broke off. The appliance store tells me I need to get a new motor, they dont make this one anymore. It will cost $210.
The break looks clean. Can this washer shaped piece be welded back onto the motor? Anyone tried this, did it work? I probably need someone to answer that knows a little about washing machines and welding
Thanks
