GE washer drainage problem

The GE washer (3 yrs old) seems to cycle and wash ok. After the cycle though there seems to be water sitting below the tub. You can't seethe water looking into the tub, but, it can be heard when moving the tub around. What could be my problem?

the drain hose running up the wall and a little water in the tub that the waterpump cant force up the drain hose will be left. about half a gallon or so.

Some water left in the tub is normal.
