Lose of power without breaker tripping

I have had a few instances when I have lost power to several different circuits, but not all. The only indication has been flashing microwaves, alarm clocks, and a computer shutting down. Other circuits are not affected and no breakers tripped.

Not enough information to make a specific call. It could be a number of things. Power company, loose connections, but my guess would be the power company lost power. If you continue to experience power losses and the cause isnt the power companies supply, I would suggest a qualified electrician take a look at your problem.
