Greetings,
I have three toilets in my house, one on each floor. When I flush the toilet on the first floor, it backups up through the basement drains. None of the others do this (even though one of them travels through the same stack). I can run water on all floors and get no backup. I just had the sewer line to the street replaced. (Also, I opened it up and water is flowing fine through it). I assume this indicates a venting problem on the toilet in question. Is this a reasonable assumption? This toilet has worked fine up until now, and I haven't changed anything in the plumbing recently. Its vented by a studor vent, so I'm thinking it went bad.
Any ideas or suggestions are appreciated.
Thanks!
