Question: I have a Frigidaire FRT18HC5AWO refridgerator with top mount freezer. It has an automatic ice-maker. Currently water runs down from near the fan area in the freezer, through to the lower part, down the back wall, and to the base of the refridgerator. Do you have any suggestions for this problem?? It is a NO-FROST system.
Answer: Many refrigerators drain the defrost water down the interior back wall of the appliance. If food in your fridge is pushed all the way back against the way, the water can be diverted onto the shelves.
Also, if the drain at the bottom has become clogged, then the water will build up inside your fridge. For more information, see our article on unclogging the drain tube (http://www.acmehowto.com/howto/appliance/refrigerator/check/draintube.htm).
