Dryer keeps buzzing won't start

I have a Whirlpool Dryer that doesn't want to start. I hold the start button down and it just buzzes for a while then there is nothing. I have to wait at least 30 minutes before I can try again and then hold my breath hoping that it will start. Then when it does start sometimes it will only run for about 10-15 minutes before it stops and I have to wait for a very long time before trying to get it to start again.
Is it the Start button or the timer or what?

open the door and c if you can manualy spin the drum. it will be a little stiff but you should be able to turn it. if it turns smooth sounds like the motor is going bad. :(
