Kenmore washer stopped

I have a kenmore washer that is only a few years old. It filled with water then stopped. I turned the dial and got nothing. Won't empty, agitate or spin. I checked the outlet and it is getting power. I tested the lid switch and that seems to be working fine. Could it be the timer? How can I tell?

If you try different wash cycles and different settings such as water level, termperature and so on and you get no activity then it is probably not the timer control. I'd look for a fuse as a start. The thing is, turning the timer control should start some action, but since it doesn't, I'm thinking it is an electrical problem. I'd make sure power is getting to the timer control for one thing.
