GE Profile water dispenser

The water dispenser will give water only after holding the switch for approximately 25 seconds. The ice maker works and all door panel lights and beeps are okay. A new filter was added and water line from house to frige has good pressure. Anyone got any ideas?

The water inlet valve is a possibility. The call switch for water may not be making a good contact, but it would be more likely that the flow would stop and go. So I'd bet on a faulty water inlet valve or clog or kink in the water line.

Thanks DIY Guy. I checked out the water valve and discovered that I have two. One valve has the connection for water entry from the house. The second valve has outlets marked "to icemaker" and "to dispenser". Both valves are connected to each other via electrical connectors. Which should I replace?
