Hello,

I have a Kenmore Series 90 Electric dryer that I need to replace the thermo fuse on. I have been told that the fuse is located inside the rear panel. I have removed the screws and cut through the silicone seal, but there are several identations in the panel that look like they could be spot welds that I can't seem to get through. The back panel is painted the same color as the main cabinet and is shaped differently than any pictures that I have seen. Can anyone provide me with some guidance.

Kenmore Machines Are Made By Numerous Different Companies... Whirlpool Is The Main Company For Kenmore, But Amana And Maytag Made Products For Them Too... Who Ever Told You That The Thermal Cutout Fuse Was Behind The Back Panel Was Thinking That You Had A Dryer Made By Whirlpool, But Actually Your Was Made By Amana... The Only Way To Access That Thermal Is By Removing The Front Panel... I Only Hope You Didn't Ruin The Dryer By Cutting The Seal Or Breaking The Weld Joints....k
