For those of you that have followed my posts of Washer ???
I have a do it yourselfer tip.
My dishwasher handle broke ( as in latch won't engage switch)
I took the handle apart and noticed a spring broken. Naturally no one sells a replacement spring but everyone stocks a new handle switch for $40.
I checked out a few hardware stores and no one had anything that size.
I went out to my garage and grabbed two toggle bolts and pried them apart to remove the springs. With a little trimming and taping two springs together(one was not strong enough) the dishwasher is back in action. Been a week now. :D
