My Kenmore washer (110.82873820) timer knob just freewheels whether in or out. I can turn the pointer disc with my thumbs and the washer works fine. It looks like there should be a part between the knob and the pointer disc that would engage the two. Not there. So, am I missing a part under the knob or do I need a new timer?
