Hi,
I have just replaced the thermostat in my fridge with a Ranco K59L1117_THERMOSTAT. It isnt a like for like product as the original Ranco thermostat isnt made anymore. The original was a Ranco K59 1206. The fridge is working fine however the temperature inside does seem to be getting a little low. I have adjusted the thermostat to its lowest ( or highest setting) so that it should turn off at a reasonable temperature but it seems to take the fridge down to about 0C before turning off. What I would like to ask is: Is there a way of adjusting the thermostat itself using the various screws I can see on it to perhaps turn itself off at say 5C. I dont want to fiddle with anything until I am sure.
Many thanks,
John
