I have a 13 year old dishwasher that runs for about 30 minutes and then shuts off. But the timer continues until the end. If I unlatch the dishwasher when it shuts off, the timer stops running. And then if I re-latch it about 20 minutes later, it's able to continue running for another 30 or so mintues. So I have to repeat the unlatch, relatch procedure until it runs the entire cycle. Does anyone have any idea what is wrong with it? Is it an electrical thing? What is making it shut down and then resetting? (Is it overheating?) Is there anything I can do myself to repair this?
