I have a a 6yr old GE s/s fridge with the icemaker that came in it. Awhile back the plastic fill line on the back of the fridge burst and we replaced it. After that the water continuously runs into the icemaker and overflows into the freezer and out the door. The water will not shut off. What can it be and can it be fixed?
Thanks for the advice,

Could be that the solenoid is not cutting the water off . There could be trash in the valve preventing a good seal. Here is a link to more info on cleaning it out and testing it.
