My kenmore washing machine was on the second rinse cycle when it started making this loud grinding/ grating noise and the water will not pump out nor will the washer spin. I moved the knob to the wash cycle and the same awful noise occurs with no other action from the machine. Can you tell me what is wrong? And Can I fix this myself? I have fixed tons of older washing machine models but I have no experience with these new ones.
