Dimmer switch problem

I just hooked up a new dimmer switch from a existing dimmer switch that was nearby.I then installed track lighting from the new dimmer switch connection. The problem being is when I turn one dimmer switch on it dims the other one down and vice a versa.I assume I wired this wrong , what should I do.

Wire the second dimmer switch on the [color=red]LINE[/color] side of the first dimmer switch.

You should never have more then one dimmer in parrellel with another dimmer. If you do, you can only have one two-way dimmer with a regular wall switch or one dimmer on a three-way circuit.
