Eg Washer Doesn't Wash

MY TOP LOADER EG WASHER WILL FILL, BUT THE AGITATOR CYCLE NEVER STARTS THE TIMER WORKS AND THE WASHER SPINS EMPTY. I JUST DOESN'T WASH :confused:

Did it agitate weakly before it finally stopped? If so, the plastic part inside the agitator which causes it agitate in one direction may need replacement.

You may have a two direction motor and it is not working in the agitate direction. This could result from a faulty motor, electrical problem, or a fault in the timer control.

It could also be a transmission problem, but that is sufficeintly difficult that we recommend leaving it to a pro.
