There are only two main cables you have to connect. The power supply cable and the Ide cable. The power supply cable comes from the computer's internal power supply and supplies power to all your internal drives. The Ide cable comes from the motherboard and is the communication from your drive to the motherboard. You may only have one Ide cable but you can connect many devices to the same cable via its many connectors and the computer will know the difference. These cables will only connect one way so you can't get it wrong. Once you get your computer appart you will see how easy it actually is. There may or may not also be an audio cable that came with your drive. If there is an audio cable it will connect to your CD drive and to the sound card or motherboard if you have built-in sound.
