Freezer - Ice Forming Inside At Bottom
I have a Whirlpool model EV200NXEN00 upright freezer, purchased back in 1996. Just recently, I have discovered ice forming, within the inside of the freezer, at the bottom of the freezer. I suspect that air may be getting inside at the bottom, which may be causing the ice to form at the bottom, where I may need to replace the door gasket, and possibly the vent plug. Otherwise, the freezer is working just fine. Are my suspicions correct? Please advise. Thanks in advance.

Your suspicion is that the air is condensing and water is freezing? That is possible, but I'd wonder why the defrost system isn't melting it and allowing it to run out the drain.
I think the problem really is that your drain in the freezer is clogged and so the water cannot drain out. The standing water is then freezing in the bottom. If your clear the drain, the water, whatever its source, will leave the freezer and the problem will be resolved.
