Default Maytag washing machine

I have a Maytag washing machine that when done doing a load of laundry still
leaves bubbles from the detergent behind on the clothes. I have tried running a second rinse cycle but only helps a bit.
Thanks for any help.

Default water inlet valve

I willing to bet this is a water supply problem. Start by making sure that both the hot and cold water supply are turned on all the way. Better yet, turn them off, disconnect the hoses, place them in a bucket and tur them on to confirm that you have adequate water pressure.

If that checks out, inspect the filter screens on the water inlet valve (see www.acmehowto.com for more information). If they are clear then the water valve itself may not be opening, or not opening enough to let in enough water to adequately rinse the load.

If that isn't the problem than the next possibility is the timer control may not be functioning and so the cycle is not working properly. A simple test for this is to try a completely different cycle, with cold water, to see if it rinses out or not. If yes, then the timer is probably faulty.
