Default won't spin on delicate

Washer will not spin out when on delicate cycle only, regular cycle works every time.

Generally, when one cycle doesn't work it is a problem with the controls. The timer control signals when each component should do its thing. When all the components work, but not in every cycle, the timer control is suspect.

Also, some washers have a push button control or a knob, to select certain settings. The switch associated with this control could also be at fault. If you have this control, start with it, it is easier to test or replace.

The timer control is not so easily tested or repaired. Basically, we recommend checking the connections, cleaning all the contacts and that is about all the DIYer can do. Anything else should be limited to taking the control in for professional testing or rebuilding. Alternatively, you can just replace the timer control, that is doable for a DIYer.
