Default Drippy shower head

My new shower head continues to drip constantly. Do I need to replace the on/off handle?

It is just a single handle in a shower only. Lever turns clockwise from hot to cold.
Thanks.

Default Thank you. It worked

I finally got out the old cartridge. After heating it with a hair dryer then pulling on the cartridge (advice from my Dad). I have installed the new cartridge, not leaking anymore. However, the hot water pressure is low.
What is up with that?
