Eg Washer Doesn't Wash

MY TOP LOADER EG WASHER WILL FILL, BUT THE AGITATOR CYCLE NEVER STARTS THE TIMER WORKS AND THE WASHER SPINS EMPTY. I JUST DOESN'T WASH

Did it agitate weakly before it finally stopped? If so, the plastic part inside the agitator which causes it agitate in one direction may need replacement.

You may have a two direction motor and it is not working in the agitate direction. This could result from a faulty motor, electrical problem, or a fault in the timer control.

It could also be a transmission problem, but that is sufficeintly difficult that we recommend leaving it to a pro.
