Default Washer Belt Replacement

I recently changed out the belt on my Magic Chef washer. It's accessed from the bottom of the washer. I had problems trying to tighten the motor mounting bolts back after loosening it up to put the belt on. The nuts turn, but the bolts do not tighten. So, the motor can move around some, but I know that it shouldn't. Any suggestions?

There has tob e a way to access the other end of those bolts. You might need to fasten a pair of locking pliers onto the bolt, brace the pliers against the chassis and then tighten the bolt from the under side. Also, to get the proper tension on the belt, you might need to use a pry bar to gently nudge the motor over while tightening the nuts.
